UP NEXT: CHRISTMAS!

The leaves might still be on the trees and the festive season may seem very far away, but the days are getting shorter and the desire for a special treat is surely growing. In order for you to enjoy our Christmas Coffees for a reasonable time, they'll be available for the next six weeks: The first roast day is November 16th and the last roast day December 21st.

The lineup is similar to last year's Christmas Coffees. For the Christmas Espresso, we will once again offer Las Joyas from Huehuetenango, Guatemala: Expect a very balanced cup combining caramel with subtle florals, some blackberry and a beautiful syrupy body. For our Christmas Filter, we'll be roasting the Ethiopia natural process Arsosala especially for filter preparation. As you already know, this one is all about those strawberries and that amazingly full body!

TASTY SNACKS! VELOFORTE

As active people who love really tasty drinks and food, we like to put some thought into the snacks we eat - on or off the bike. A bit over a year ago, we stumbled upon the Veloforte nutritional products (they produce energy bars and gels as well as hydration drink mixes) and have been enjoying them ever since. They are made from 100% natural ingredients and free from gluten, dairy, preservatives and additives.

The Veloforte products are not (yet) widely available in Switzerland, so we decided to let you in on our fueling and snacking and offer a selection of their energy bars, gels and drink mixes in our web shop. We also have some hydration and fueling bundles up in the shop so check them out.

DID I HEAR BUNDLES?

Speaking of bundles: They make great gifts for the Vertical Coffee Roasters lover! Treat yourself or someone you care for to cool coffee making gear (like an AeroPress bundle) or tasty beans (with some cool merch thrown in).

CAN'T STOP WON'T STOP

COVID measures have cut short the event season as most activities involving more than a handful of people coming together have been cancelled once again. That means our coffee trucks will be getting a second resting season this year.

The roasting side of our business will not be standing still though! Our green coffee stocks are full and we're happy to turn them into very tasty coffee and send them over to you. Let's keep our fingers crossed that Swiss Post, who handles our logistics, will keep up the great work they've done in the last months and keep delivering our parcels on time.

Stay safe and keep your ears warm! #acoffeeadaykeepsthecoronabluesaway
